Sermon 5

Don't let mischief sweep you away, people



When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away, Abbas and Abu Sufyan Ibn Harb asked him that we want to pledge allegiance to him.


Turn your face, take off the crown of pride and boasting. He is successful in adopting the right course of action and the crown. And in this way, people keep God in peace from unrest. (Standing for the Caliphate at that time) It is dirty water and a morsel that will stick in the throat of the eater.


One who picks fruits before they are ripe is like one who cultivates in other people's land. If I speak, people say that I am obsessed with the worldly empire, and if I remain silent, they say that I am afraid of death.


Alas, now that I have seen all the downsides. By God, son of Abu Talib from death . Alas, now that I have seen all the downsides. By God, Abu Talib's son is so familiar with death that a child is not so familiar with his mother's breast.


However, there is a hidden knowledge wrapped in the folds of my chest that if I reveal it, you will start to tremble just like the ropes in deep wells shake and tremble.

 



خطبہ 5

جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ والہ وسلم نے دنیا سے رحلت فرمائی تو عباس اور ابو سفیان ابن حرب نے آپ سے عرض کیا کہ ہم آپ کی بیعت کرنا چاہتے ہیں جس پر حضرت نے فرمایا۔


اپنا رُخ موڑ لو، فخر و مباہات کے تاج اتار ڈالو صحیح طریقہ عمل و تاج اختیار کرنے میں کامیاب وہ ہے جو اٹھے تو پر و بال کے ساتھ اٹھے اور نہیں تو اقتدار کی کرسی ) دوسروں کے لئے چھوڑ بیٹھے۔ اور اس طرح خلق خدا کو بدامنی سے راحت میں رکھے ۔ (اس وقت طلب خلافت کے لئے کھڑا ہونا ) یہ ایک گندلا پانی اور ایسا لقمہ ہے جو کھانے والے کے گلو گیر ہو کر رہے گا۔


پھلوں کو ان کے پکنے سے پہلے چننے والا ایسا ہے جیسے دوسروں کی زمین میں کاشت کرنے والا ۔ اگر بولتا ہوں تو لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ یہ دنیوی سلطنت پر مٹے ہوئے ہیں اور چپ رہتا ہوں تو کہتے ہیں کہ موت سے ڈر گئے ۔ افسوس اب یہ بات جب کہ میں ہر طرح کے نشیب و فراز دیکھے بیٹھا ہوں۔


خدا کی قسم ابو طالب  کا بیٹا موت سے اتنا مانوس ہے کہ بچہ اپنی ماں کی چھاتی سے اتنا مانوس نہیں ہوتا۔ البتہ ایک علم پوشیدہ میرے سینے کی تہوں میں لپٹا ہوا ہے کہ اسے ظاہر کر دوں تو تم اسی طرح پیچ و تاب کھانے لگو جس طرح گہرے کنوؤں میں رسیاں لرزتی اور تھر تھراتی ہیں۔
